We began the day as usual with Shul of Rock and a lively
breakfast which was followed by a tour around the local area where we
are staying. We learnt about WWI and things that took place in and near this
area. It was extremely interesting and we all learnt something new.
We arrived back at the camp site for i-club and lunch before
being greeted by lots of United Synagogue Rabbis and Youth Directors - from Radlett, Finchley, Stanmore, Chigwell, Mill Hill, head office and elsewhere - who came
to join us for the afternoon.
They ran a fantastic programme for us which
entailed creating posters, songs and dances, culminating in one big talent
contest for all three camps. The Rabbis and Youth Directors joined us for
dinner and we had a great time with them.
The evening saw a game of glow in the dark dodgeball and a
relaxed BBC session.
